St Mary the Virgin, Clothall, Hertfordshire
The church is mainly 14th C with its large and impressive tower.
East window 14th C, with a majority of birds, and medallions of persons included. Here probably the Christ with crown.
The strangest stained glass panel of the church: Virgin, Mary Madelene, another saint? The left side of her face is distorted (mouth and eye), and she hold her left hand with her right one... Hemiplegia ?
Signature on the old wooden door, churchwarden?
