East window 14th C, with a majority of birds, and medallions of persons included. Here probably the Christ with crown.Stained glass "delightfully drawn birds, C15, many restored"( Pevsner), all sorts of birds and poultry. The birds seem to be in good shape in this aviaryThe strangest stained glass panel of the church: Virgin, Mary Madelene, another saint? The left side of her face is distorted (mouth and eye), and she hold her left hand with her right one... Hemiplegia ?St Mary's was built around 1350–70 on the foundations of an older 12th century nave, from which the font appears to originate. Note the fine 17th century brasses.Signature on the old wooden door, churchwarden?
