Flemish glass panels from St Giles, Wyddial, Hertfordshire
Visited in April 2022
Eight panels in two windows depict the Passion of Christ, starting with the arrest and the famous kiss of the disciple Judas. In front of his executioners, Christ remains calm and quiet, all his different faces have been painted serene and full of goodness. These panels probably date from the 16th century and are of Flemish origin. They were restored in 2008.
