St Augustine, Northbourne, Kent
St Augustine, 6th C, was a monk who came from Rome by ship, and became the first Archbishop of Canterbury

Maybe a Saxon origin for this building, and maybe St Augustine travelling alone on his boat towards Kent

The weathervane is there to remember the travel of the saint.
In the Lady Chapel, the monument to Sir Edwin Sandys and his wife (1629), and angels.
