The "Steyning Screen" dated 16th C, celebrating Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon first wife of the king. Made by Richard FitzJames, Bishop of London and friend of the Queen, it contains the royal and bishop's emblems.

It's a very old church, dedicated to St Cuthman, a 8th C Saxon saint. The church dates probably from the 11th C, the tower from the 16th CNave with Norman capitals and columns
